Keep reading to see how you can get started in this fulfilling position!THE INS AND OUTS OF BECOMING OUR HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN - INSTALLERTHE SCHEDULE:Standard hours are 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with an on-call schedule and overtime available.YOUR ROLE:You'll travel to homes throughout the area to complete the top-notch repair, diagnostic, and installation services we're known for! Armed with your tools and a professional, "can-do" attitude, you'll perform hands-on work, prepare accurate job records, and deliver quality customer service. Every day brings something different, but you can expect to:Properly install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and related components (i.e., ductwork, wiring, control systems, furnaces, heat pumps, etc.)Follow blueprints, diagrams, building codes, and manufacturer specs during installationStart up and test newly installed systemsAssess existing systems to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system problemsReplace worn/defective parts, including motors, compressors, fans, sensors, thermostats, etc.Locate and repair refrigerant leaksClearly explain repair needs/service options to homeowners, provide cost estimates, and educate them on system usage and maintenancePrepare and submit service records, work orders, and installation reportsCoordinate with contractors, construction teams, and/or supervisors to ensure efficient serviceHVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN - INSTALLER REQUIREMENTS:Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in various weather conditions, and work in areas such as attics, rooftops, and confined spacesAbility to safely and accurately use power tools and diagnostic toolsAbility to stay up-to-date with new HVAC technology, regulations, and industry changesAbility to complete accurate documentation, maintain your tools, and keep your service vehicle in good conditionDiagnostic skills and a customer service mindsetREWARDING CAREERS BEGIN HERE!Join Roger's Plumbing & Heating, where our legacy of excellence and craftsmanship extends back to 1983!
