Primary Role:
- Provide the customer with a high-quality experience
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of residential and small commercial heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards
- Ability to diagnose HVAC issues, work with supervision
Work Hours: This is a full-time position. Primary working hours are 7:30am to 5:00pm; alternating on call schedule to cover 24/7 emergency service; some weekends and evenings
Job Duties:
- Safety is of utmost importance! Work within all applicable standards, policies, or procedures, such as safety procedures or the maintenance of a clean work area.
- Execute job requirements with great customer service and communication skills
- Repair or service heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to improve efficiency, such as by changing filters, cleaning ducts, or refilling non-toxic refrigerants.
- Connect heating or air conditioning equipment to fuel, water, or refrigerant source to form complete circuit.
- Test electrical circuits or components for continuity, using electrical test equipment.
- Assemble, position, and mount heating or cooling equipment, following blueprints or manufacturer's specifications.
- Recommend, develop, or perform preventive or general maintenance procedures, such as cleaning, power-washing, or vacuuming equipment, oiling parts, or changing filters.
- Able to lift, carry, and move up to 40lbs.
