Overview:

Roessel Joy is seeking an experienced Client Billing Specialist to join our team supporting approximately 20 attorneys. This role is ideal for someone with 5 years of legal billing experience and proficiency in Elite 3E. The position requires 60% in-office presence, with the option to work remotely 40% of the time.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process client invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with billing guidelines.
• Utilize 3E and Excel for tracking client-specific billing details.
• Submit invoices via E-billing systems or directly into client portals as needed.
• Research and resolve questionable time/cost entries.
• Review finalized invoices for quality and completeness.
• Maintain unbilled time/costs and provide status updates to management and attorneys.
• Conduct regular A/R maintenance and generate accurate inventory reports.
• Assist with finance documentation and trust transaction inquiries.
• Prepare write-off/write-down documentation for approval.
• Provide billing/payment histories and conduct research as needed.
• Take on additional responsibilities as requested.

Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree needed.
• Proficiency in Elite 3E software required.
• 5 years of billing experience in a professional services or legal environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, administrative, and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Professional demeanor and ability to collaborate with colleagues at all levels.
• Outstanding customer service and discretion handling confidential information.
• Self-motivated, flexible, and able to quickly learn new systems.
