We are partnering with a company in the Sharon, MA area who is looking to add a Controller to their team. This role will oversee the accounting and finance function, lead the accounting team, and partner with executive leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting while driving the company's financial strategy and operational success.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting and finance operations for the company
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes
- Maintain and oversee the General Ledger and financial reporting functions
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reports
- Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process while providing financial insights to leadership
- Manage cash flow and support strategic financial planning initiatives
- Supervise, mentor, and develop members of the accounting team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 7 years of progressive accounting and finance experience
- Prior Controller or accounting leadership experience preferred
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Compensation: $125K-$140K depending on experience
