Controller

Roessel Joy has partnered with a growing Construction company on a new Controller position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working in the construction industry, experience owning the month-end-close, and experience overseeing accounting staff.

Responsibilities:

• Own the month-end-close process.
• Own job costing processes.
• Oversee a staff of accounting professionals.
• Work hands-on within the GL.
• Lead the audit with the third-party auditors.
• Present the financials to senior leadership.
• Identify areas for process improvement or automations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree.
• 7 years of accounting experience.
• Construction industry experience.
• Staff management experience.
• Strong communication skills.
