Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment.
• Handle chemical agents safely, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and proper handling procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Use vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing tools to maintain impeccable cleanliness standards across all areas.
• Manage heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or large supplies with proper manual handling techniques to prevent injury.
• Maintain sanitation by disinfecting high-touch surfaces and ensuring compliance with hotel hygiene protocols.
• Operate cleaning equipment efficiently while following safety guidelines for chemical handling and equipment use.
• Support hotel housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly and assisting in training new team members on janitorial best practices.

Skills

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles with a strong focus on hospitality standards.
• Skilled in floor cleaning, floor care, and industrial cleaning techniques to uphold cleanliness excellence.
• Knowledge of chemical agent handling, safety procedures, and the use of cleaning equipment to ensure safe operations.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude that enhances guest satisfaction.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safety protocols.
• Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and sanitation standards to respond effectively in urgent situations.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage custodial tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
