What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Center Warehouse Cleaning Technician position at ROCS Grad Staffing?
We are hiring Technicians to support cleaning and maintenance projects inside large Data Center facilities. This is a hands-on role where you will work as part of a team to ensure equipment areas and facility spaces remain clean, organized, and operating safely.
This is a great opportunity for individuals with cleaning, maintenance, construction, warehouse, or general labor experience who are looking to work in high-tech data center environments.
No prior data center experience is required - training is provided.
Responsibilities for Warehouse Cleaning Technicians:
- Technicians work with a crew to complete cleaning and maintenance projects safely and efficiently. Responsibilities may include:
- Removing debris and dust from floor surfaces
- Cleaning walls, panels, doors, fixtures, and equipment exteriors
- Wiping and detailing trays, ducts, vents, and structural components
- HEPA vacuuming floors and equipment areas
- Mopping or machine-scrubbing floors using approved cleaning solutions
- Vacuuming carpeted areas where applicable
- Cleaning stairwells, rails, landings, and common areas
- Inspecting work areas and performing spot cleaning as needed
- Conducting final walkthroughs with clients to ensure quality standards
- Following all safety procedures while working on-site
Requirements for Warehouse Cleaning Technicians:
- 0–2 years of cleaning, maintenance, construction, or general labor experience
- Must be 18 years or older
- Reliable transportation required
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
- Ability to work in environments with loud noise and varying temperatures
- Comfortable working at heights when required
- Ability to communicate and work well with team members
