We are looking for a Workforce Development Coordinator to support the construction and skilled trades training academy. This role serves as a central point of contact for apprentices, instructors, and employer partners — helping ensure smooth program operations from enrollment to completion.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for apprentices and employer partners regarding program status, attendance, and training progress
- Track and manage on-the-job training (OJT) hours, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Maintain compliance with state apprenticeship standards and regulatory requirements
- Distribute, collect, and track apprenticeship documentation and agreements
- Monitor student attendance, grades, and progression through training programs
- Create and manage classes, registrations, and student transitions within internal systems
- Generate invoices and track tuition payments
- Assist with student onboarding, orientations, and instructor support
- Support academy events such as graduations, competitions, and industry programs
- Maintain accurate records and databases for all program activities
- Coordinate office operations including supplies and materials
- Provide professional phone and administrative support
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in program coordination, administration, or similar role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience working with databases and maintaining accurate records
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Customer service mindset with the ability to work with students, instructors, and employers
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
