Overview

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's largest and most comprehensive provider of cancer care has an exciting opportunity for an experienced PET Tech.

This position requires on-site work at multiple locations throughout the Denver metro area and is eligible for mileage reimbursement in accordance with company policy.

Whether we are a nurse holding our patient's hand, or a scheduler on the phone finding an appointment that fits into a patient's schedule, we are deeply connected to our patients and do what we can to help.

Salary Range: $35.00-55.00

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs PET scan procedures to include injection of radiopharmaceutical, setup of protocol, reconstruction and development of images, coordination of image on report function and archiving of images.
  • Assist in scheduling procedures and related front office functions to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Ensures accuracy of patient demographic information, report distribution and patient files.

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelors degree in nuclear medicine technology from an AMA accredited program. Minimum three to five years experience in nuclear medicine and/or previous PET experience. CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) and/or ARRT (N) certification and state licensure where applicable. PET Technologist with (ARRT) (R) (N) (CT) or NMTCB (CT) highly desirable.Â

Work may require sitting for long periods of time; also stooping, bending and stretching for files and supplies. Occasionally lifting files or paper weighing up to 30 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, operate a calculator, telephone, copier and other such office equipment.
