POSITION SUMMARY: Under direct supervision of the Chief Information Officer, provide administrative and clerical support to CIO and Technology department as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Handle complex secretarial tasks
- Assist Chief Information Officer and Director of Technical Support Services with work tasks as assigned
- Contact to Superintendent’s Office for all Board Doc information from Technology department
- Financial secretary for the Technology department
- Handle all travel arrangements for Technology department employees
- Handle all technology purchasing for the district, budget preparation/management and financial account reconciliation
- Arrange and reschedules meetings as necessary
- Screen calls for Chief Information Officer and Director of Technical Support Services as needed
- Handle responses to routine correspondence, as directed
- Maintain records and files according to district data retention guidelines
- Ensure all CIO, Director of Technical Support Services, and Coordinator of Information Systems administrative duties are addressed appropriately
- Support CIO, Director of Technical Support Services, and Coordinator of Information Systems in projects as required
- Ensure Technology department is administratively organized with regard to supplies, etc.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Chief Information Officer, Director of Technical Support Service and Coordinator of Information Systems
- Handle visitor management support as needed
- Other duties as assigned by the Chief Information Officer

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma; prefer 30 or more college credit hours
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and Google Workspace for Education applications
- 3 years’ experience supporting executive level management
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent organizational skills and flexible self-starter, keen ability to prioritize
- Professional telephone skills
