Rockville Smile Studio is a brand-new, modern dental practice in Rockville, and we're looking for an experienced Patient Care Coordinator to join our team.
The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and confident guiding patients through every stage of their experience—from the first phone call and appointment scheduling to treatment coordination, insurance questions, and financial arrangements. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about building relationships and helping every patient feel welcomed, informed, and cared for.
What You'll Do
- Welcome patients and create a warm, professional first impression
- Answer phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and schedule appointments
- Coordinate patient check-in and check-out
- Verify insurance benefits and clearly explain coverage to patients
- Review treatment plans, answer questions, and help patients schedule recommended care
- Discuss payment options, collect payments, and manage patient balances
- Submit dental insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims
- Maintain accurate patient records and organized front-office workflows
- Manage recalls, appointment confirmations, and ongoing patient communications
- Follow up with patients who have unscheduled or incomplete treatment
- Support marketing initiatives, patient retention, and new-patient growth
- Collaborate with the clinical team to provide a seamless patient experience
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years dental front desk or patient coordination experience required
- Experience with insurance & benefit verification and claims
- Comfortable discussing treatment plans, payments, and patient balances

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
