What We Are Looking For: Dental Patient Care Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients warmly and manage check-in and registration processes
• Assist with scheduling appointments and confirming patient visits
• Maintain a tidy, welcoming lobby environment and support patient comfort during their visit
• Answer phones, respond to emails/texts, and direct inquiries appropriately
• Support patient flow and assist the clinical and administrative teams as needed
• Learn and use EMR/dental practice management software with training
• Process patient payments and assist with basic financial transactions
• Perform opening and closing procedures for the front desk area
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and protect patient privacy

Qualifications:

• Previous customer service experience in a professional setting preferred (healthcare, hospitality, or administrative)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, in person and by phone/email/text
• Basic computer proficiency; familiarity with Microsoft Office a plus
• Ability to multitask and learn new systems quickly
• Professional, cheerful, and reliable team player
• Interest in growing into a long-term role within the dental field
