As a Developer II, you’ll serve as a technical expert for assigned applications, partnering closely with Business Analysts and business stakeholders. You’ll work across the full development lifecycle — from design and coding to testing, validation, and support — while helping Rockline adopt new technologies that improve efficiency and accuracy.

As a Developer II, you’ll serve as a technical expert for assigned applications, partnering closely with Business Analysts and business stakeholders. You’ll work across the full development lifecycle — from design and coding to testing, validation, and support — while helping Rockline adopt new technologies that improve efficiency and accuracy.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, test, validate, and support small to medium-sized application programs
- Analyze business requirements and recommend effective technical solutions
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert for assigned applications
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and business partners to support system design, workflow, and reporting needs
- Conduct troubleshooting and provide on-call support as needed
- Create documentation and support “train-the-trainer” efforts
- Participate in internal and external user groups and conduct user meetings
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve business processes
- Support additional projects and responsibilities as business needs evolve
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science required; Bachelor’s degree preferred OR 2 years of relevant functional development experience in lieu of a degree
- Minimum of 2 years of development experience
- Experience with:
- Systems Analysis and Data Modeling
- JD Edwards development toolset
- System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Software validation
- DB2 databases, SQL, and .NET
- Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and XML payloads
- Ability to consume APIs using existing libraries or integration tools
- Working knowledge of Microsoft tools, including Copilot AI, Copilot AI Agents, and Power Automate
- Exposure to other AI agents or automation tools
- Demonstrated ability to code small to complex programs
- Strong analytical, communication, and self-management skills
- Business knowledge across areas such as supply chain, manufacturing, finance, sales, quality, or logistics is a plus
