What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver position at Evergreen Manor II?
Job Description:
Staff will be responsible for guiding and/or monitoring residents with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) and provide various activities within the facility and/or out in the community such as outing, personal shopping, Doctor appointments, etc. Staff will maintain profession and caring attitudes towards residents, while respecting their rights and be capable of using good judgement in any and all situations.
Duties:
- Medication Administration
- Accurate monitoring and record keeping such as vitals, ongoing health changes, behavior/social needs and attitudes
- Maintain a strict confidentiality of all personal information
- Must be able to be familiar with each individual resident's status/needs (ISP's, Crisis Plans, and emergency information/situations)
- Complete all required chores on shift cleaning list
- Follow dietary/nutritional needs
- Must be able to lift at least 50lbs if needed without restriction
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Certification in Medication Administration, Fire Safety, First Aid, and Standard Precautions preferred but not required. Can provide classes if position is offered
- Knowledge or experience preferred with working with adults with mental illnesses
- Valid Driver's License
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
