- Following individualized care plans and completing daily tasks via electronic documentation.
- Assisting clients with self-help activities, including bathing, grooming, ambulation, meal preparation (including special diets), feeding, and oral hygiene.
- Utilizing assistive devices such as walkers and wheelchairs, and ensuring safety precautions and infection control are maintained.
- Performing secondary tasks like laundry, cleaning, grocery shopping, and meal prep within client-approved boundaries.
- Maintaining a clean, safe environment and reporting concerns or changes in client condition to supervisors.
- Respecting client confidentiality, privacy, and rights, while delivering quality care within scope and seeking guidance when needed.
- Assisting with medication self-administration (not direct administration) and reporting any suspected abuse or unsafe conditions.
- High school diploma preferred, with the ability to read and write.
- At least 6 months of validated caregiving experience.
- Must be 18 years or older.
