This role involves providing personal care and support to clients in their homes, primarily during weekend hours in the Rocky Mount area.
Key responsibilities include following the client's care plan, completing daily tasks via EVV or electronic timesheets, encouraging client independence, and assisting with basic personal care such as bathing, grooming, ambulating, meal preparation, feeding, and using mobility equipment.
Additional duties may involve light housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, and meal prep to maintain a safe and clean environment.
Candidates must have at least 6 months of validated caregiving experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and be at least 18 years old.
Skills required include attention to safety, infection control, and adherence to confidentiality and patient rights.
Caregivers are expected to provide quality, scope-appropriate care, seek guidance when needed, and only assist with self-administered medications. They must report any concerns about client safety, changes in condition, or potential abuse immediately.
