Occupational Health & Safety Specialist

Seeking an experienced Occupational Health & Safety Specialist to develop and manage workplace safety programs, ensuring OSHA compliance and fostering a safety-first culture.

Responsibilities Include

• Implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Investigating incidents and leading root cause analysis with corrective actions.
• Managing workers' compensation claims and coordinating return-to-work processes.
• Participating in emergency response planning and safety training development.
• Monitoring workplace hazards such as dust, air quality, noise, and ergonomics.
• Administering PPE programs and supervising Safety & Sanitation Technicians.
• Collaborating with HR and production teams on safety initiatives and best practices.
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
• 3-5 years of safety experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workers' compensation processes.
• Experience in supervision or team leadership preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in documentation, recordkeeping, and working in environments with dust, noise, and moving equipment.
