Rochelle Zell Jewish High School, In Deerfield, is looking for an energetic, organized, and community-minded educator to lead our vibrant Student Activities program. This role sits at the intersection of school culture, student leadership, and community building — and it’s made for someone who loves working directly with teenagers and believes deeply in the value of life outside the classroom. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Oversee 25 student clubs end-to-end, including the Activities Fair, annual leadership transitions, and ongoing participation tracking
• Advise and support student government (Va’ad HaStudentim); train and coach student leaders each fall
• Coordinate signature school culture events: Spirit Week, Homecoming, Prom, and overnight Shabbatonim retreats
• Support Jewish holiday programming and help plan longer school trips; manage vendor relationships, logistics, and budgets
• Provide regular check-ins and ongoing wellness support for new, transfer, and assigned students as part of the Student Services team
• Participate in recruitment and enrollment events; support prospective student shadow days and the student ambassador program
• Contribute to school communications and social media
Reports to: Director of Jewish Life; works closely with the Director of Admissions & Recruitment and the Academic Dean

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Previous experience in both formal and informal educational settings
• Energetic, organized, and genuinely enthusiastic about working with high school students
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable managing logistics and budgets
• Passion for school culture, student leadership, and community building
