What You’ll Be Doing
- Coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for internal, supplier, and customer quality issues
- Lead and track scrap reduction and continuous improvement initiatives
- Partner with production, engineering, and operations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Ensure work instructions, inspection plans, and quality documentation are accurate and effectively used
- Support ISO quality management system processes, audits, and continuous improvement activities
- Perform targeted in-process inspections to support containment and investigations
- Serve as a primary quality contact for customers, including meetings and on-site visits when required
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding quality concerns and corrective actions
- Analyze quality data and trends to drive preventive improvements
What We Need From You
- 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing quality, quality technician, or quality assurance role
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems
- Experience with corrective actions, root cause analysis (5-Why, Fishbone, 8D), and continuous improvement
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- 2 years working within a documented quality system, including traceability and disciplined documentation.
- Preferred qualifications include:
- Associate degree or technical certification in Manufacturing, Quality, Mechanical, or Industrial Technology
- Experience supporting customer quality issues or audits
- Familiarity with ERP systems and quality documentation tools
- ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) or similar certification preferred
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate degree or technical certification in Manufacturing, Quality, Mechanical, or Industrial Technology preferred
