JOB OVERVIEW
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Obtain proper approvals of invoices prior to processing.
- Enter vendor invoices accurately and timely into accounting system.
- Prepare, review and process weekly payment run for approved vendor invoices
- Professionally communicate with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and address payment inquiries
- Review and reconcile
- Assess and apply use tax on purchases in compliance with applicable regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Experience: good knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting experience in addition to computer skills and good numerical
- High degree of accuracy and has excellent data entry and oral communication
