Robinson Franzman, LLP is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Associate to join our growing team in downtown Atlanta. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior attorney (1–3 years of experience) looking to develop strong litigation skills in a collaborative, high-performance environment, with exposure to both civil and commercial litigation matters.
About the Role
As a Litigation Associate, you will work closely with experienced attorneys on a variety of civil and commercial disputes, gaining hands-on experience in all phases of litigation—from case strategy through trial preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in all aspects of civil and commercial litigation, including pleadings, discovery, and motion practice
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, and briefs
- Manage and organize case files and discovery materials
- Take and defend depositions (as experience allows)
- Participate in hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the Georgia Bar (or ability to obtain promptly)
- 1–3 years of litigation experience (civil and/or commercial litigation preferred)
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment
