Investment Banking Associate

I am working with a well-established, high-growth investment bank with a strong footprint in the Southeast to recruit an exceptional Investment Banking Associate for their Florida office. This is a prime opportunity for a driven, analytically sharp professional who wants hands-on deal exposure across underwriting transactions, sales agreements, and private capital placements.

💼 About the Role

This Associate will work directly with senior bankers and clients on a diverse pipeline of capital markets and advisory mandates. You’ll play a central role in transaction execution—supporting deal structuring, financial modeling, documentation, investor communication, and due diligence—while gaining clear visibility to career progression.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Support execution of equity and debt underwriting transactions, including drafting offering documents and managing regulatory deliverables
• Assist in structuring, preparing, and executing sales agreements and capital markets documentation
• Lead analytical work for private placements, including investor materials, financial modeling, and valuations
• Prepare pitchbooks, market analyses, and strategic presentations for clients and internal committees
• Interface with legal counsel, auditors, investors, and issuer executives throughout the transaction lifecycle
• Conduct detailed industry, financial, and company research to inform deal strategy
• Help manage due diligence processes and coordinate cross-functional workstreams
• Contribute to new business development through market mapping and proposal support

🔑 Candidate Profile

• 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, capital markets, private placements, or closely related financial roles
• Strong exposure to underwriting or securities documentation is highly preferred
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills (DCF, comps, precedent transactions)
• Ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment
• Exceptional writing, communication, and client-facing skills
• Team-oriented mindset with the confidence to work directly with senior leadership
• Series 79 and 63
