About the Company
We are currently working with a firm who are searching for a Managing Director to join their investment banking team in New York. The company in question are a mid-market Investment Bank with a great reputation in the market. They have a fantastic senior leadership team in place, an excellent working culture and a very strong platform to leverage.
They specialise in raising capital in the private markets through both debt and equity packages for clients. Renowned for complex deal structuring and completing 100% of the deals they engage with this outfit is second to none when it comes to fundraising.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be someone with 10 years of experience from another bank, boutique or consultancy. They are looking for senior bankers who have strong relationships in the investment community and can leverage a black book of contacts to originate deals.
Having some exposure to working within the mid market space and across entrepreneurial clients both on the corporate and private equity side would be advantageous. As a vital member of the team, you would be expected to originate and lead transactions from inception through execution and completion. There will be a team of juniors to manage and support on the execution side of things. You will also have access to the partners in the firm who will work collegiately with you to help originate deals.
