Sr. Paralegal, Litigation

We are looking for an experienced Senior Paralegal specializing in litigation to join an awesome team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting attorneys with case preparation, trial coordination, and legal document management. This position offers a dynamic work environment where you can leverage your expertise in commercial and civil litigation.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough research and analysis of legal precedents to support case preparation.

• Prepare, draft, and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.

• Coordinate trial preparation activities, such as organizing exhibits, witness lists, and case files.

• Manage case files and maintain accurate records of legal proceedings and correspondence.

• Assist in the development of case strategies by organizing and summarizing complex information.

• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and external parties to gather required information or provide updates.

• Handle administrative tasks related to litigation, such as scheduling depositions and court appearances.

• Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures.

• Collaborate with attorneys to ensure efficient case management and successful trial outcomes.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on commercial and civil litigation.

• Proven expertise in trial preparation and legal document drafting.

• Strong research and analytical skills to support case development.

• Familiarity with court procedures and rules applicable to litigation.

• Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

• Effective communication skills for interacting with attorneys, clients, and external parties.

• Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.

• Certification or degree in paralegal studies is preferred.
