Sr. Financial Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join a dynamic and growing finance team in Southfield, Michigan. Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain comprehensive budgets and forecasts to support organizational goals.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, to evaluate performance against key metrics.
• Prepare internal financial reports and ensure accuracy in data presentation.
• Collaborate with team members to consolidate subsidiary financial statements into unified reports.
• Design and implement financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Utilize advanced Excel and data mining techniques to analyze complex datasets.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support various departments and leadership.
• Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Communicate findings and insights effectively to stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Stay updated on industry trends and apply best practices to financial analysis processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within a Big 4 or large regional accounting firm.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Proven analytical skills with experience in data mining techniques.
• A proactive and detail-oriented approach to learning and growth within the finance sector.
