Senior AccountantOur client is looking for a Senior Accountant for a contract role. Reporting to the Controller, this role will handle all aspects of the accounting function including AP/AR, payroll, month-end close, reconciliations, and project financials, while serving as a key liaison with customers, subcontractors, and vendors.Responsibilities of Senior AccountantPrepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.Assist the Controller and CFO with budgets, forecasts, and proformas.Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closing entries.Maintain general ledger and record accruals, depreciation, and journal entries.Perform cost allocations and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.Oversee cash flow monitoring and forecasting.Conduct and support physical inventory processes.Process payroll transactions in compliance with regulations.Manage project accounting, including tracking expenses, revenues, and budgets.Perform job cost analysis, project AP/AR, and prepare regular project and WIP reports.Support month-end close and provide financial data for management review.
