Senior Backend Engineer (.NET)

Compensation: $140,000–$160,000 (up to $170,000 for exceptional candidates)

Schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer with deep experience in .NET to support a major brand overhaul and full site rewrite. This is a high-impact role with significant new development work, plus some ongoing maintenance and optimization for high-traffic, consumer-facing platforms.

What You’ll Do

• Build and enhance backend services, APIs, and core application functionality using .NET and .NET Core
• Contribute to a complete site modernization and large-scale platform rewrite
• Support new development initiatives as well as ongoing maintenance
• Collaborate with engineering leadership, product teams, and cross-functional partners
• Optimize performance, improve scalability, and ensure high levels of reliability
• Participate in architectural discussions and code reviews

Top Skills & Experience

1. 10 years of backend engineering with C#, .NET, and .NET Core
2. Hands-on Azure experience, especially Azure Functions and related services
3. High-traffic, high-scale ecommerce experience
4. Strong database background (SQL or similar)
5. React and Next.js experience is a nice to have
