SAP Consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP Consultant to join our team in Hartford, Connecticut. This is a long-term contract position requiring expertise in configuring SAP systems, optimizing inventory management, and improving forecasting processes. The role offers a hybrid work environment with occasional in-office meetings.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and clean existing data to ensure accuracy and usability within SAP systems.

• Configure SAP modules to optimize inventory setup and management processes.

• Integrate SAP with third-party systems, including Transcepta, to streamline operations.

• Develop and implement forecasting models to improve inventory predictions and production planning.

• Generate detailed inventory and production reports to support decision-making.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Ensure seamless API development and integration to enhance system functionality.

• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP configurations and related modules.

• Maintain documentation of configurations, processes, and system changes for future reference.

• Proven experience in SAP system configuration and management.
• Strong skills in inventory forecasting and reporting.
• Expertise in integrating SAP with third-party systems, such as Transcepta.
• Proficiency in API development and client-side scripting.
• Ability to create and interpret business requirement documents.
• Familiarity with configuration management practices.
• Background in Salesforce development is a plus.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
