Responsibilities:
• Review written materials for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and adherence to style guidelines.
• Validate information such as pricing, timelines, product details, and brand names to ensure factual accuracy.
• Check final content to confirm alignment with approved designs and client-provided specifications across both digital and printed formats.
• Evaluate copy to ensure it maintains the appropriate tone and consistency with brand standards.
• Develop and refine proofreading processes, including creating checklists and updating style guides for consistency.
• Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining strict attention to deadlines and quality.
• Collaborate closely with creative teams, marketing stakeholders, and traffic managers to address content concerns.
• Identify and implement improvements in proofreading workflows to enhance team efficiency.
• Minimum of 3–6 years of proofreading experience within a creative agency, studio, or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of grammar, syntax, and style conventions such as AP or Chicago Manual of Style.
• Ability to adapt to different brand tones and formats while maintaining consistency.
• Exceptional attention to detail, capable of catching subtle errors in both digital and printed materials.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously without sacrificing accuracy.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset for working effectively with diverse teams.
• Familiarity with retail, foodservice, or merchandising projects is highly desirable.
• Bonus qualifications include experience in graphic design, print production, or publishing.
