The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills, can connect with clients and coworkers and collaborates well with others.Project Manager position qualifications:Ability to manage multiple construction projects at one time. Projects include renovations, additions, and new build.Ability to interpret design documents and validate subcontractor / vendor quotes and proposals ensuring adherence to project requirements.Develop / maintain subcontractor and supplier relationships.Solicit building permits and / or manage the submission process as needed.Manage RFI, submittal processes, and project cost control.Prepare monthly project billings for assigned projects.Understands project costs and capable of managing and tracking large project budgets through completion. This includes change orders with a focus on profitability and loss control.Communicate effectively with clients and AFS Team.Understands importance of smooth transition from preconstruction to construction teams.Fosters cooperation from A/E design professionals, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and AFS own workforce.Commitment to smooth project closeout, inspections, and turn-over.
