Programmer/Analyst 3

We are looking for a skilled Programmer/Analyst 3 to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in managing and expanding our Microsoft Azure infrastructure while ensuring robust security, scalability, and performance. Your expertise in cloud technologies, scripting, and automation will drive the success of projects and streamline resource creation through Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure to optimize performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with team members to develop and manage automated deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Write and maintain automation scripts, primarily using Bicep, PowerShell, and other scripting languages, to ensure repeatability and version control.
• Monitor and analyze system logs using Azure Monitor, ensuring system reliability and security.
• Implement and manage network security protocols to safeguard cloud infrastructure.
• Utilize version control tools like Git to manage code repositories and ensure auditability.
• Conduct server administration tasks, including Windows server management and Redis configuration.
• Create technical documentation and diagrams using tools such as Microsoft Visio.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and deployments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to provide insights and recommendations for improving infrastructure and processes.
• Proven experience working in a cloud environment in an operational or development role.
• Strong scripting skills in languages like PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Perl.
• Proficiency in automated deployment tools such as Azure DevOps Pipelines, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including PaaS and serverless compute.
• Experience with version control systems like Git for managing code repositories.
• Solid understanding of network security concepts and implementation.
• Ability to create and interpret technical documentation and diagrams using Microsoft Visio.
