Policy Specialist

We are partnering with a leading organization to hire a Policy Specialist who will play a key role in drafting and maintaining insurance policy contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client needs and corporate standards.

Essential Functions

• Draft representations and warranties policy contracts based on standard wordings, client clauses, and agreed terms.
• Update and maintain standard policy templates.
• Assist with policy negotiations and provide suggested wording for unique client requirements.
• Organize policy resources and maintain policy procedures.
• Participate in Counsel Team projects and stay current on policy wording trends.
• Develop specialized knowledge of policy provisions and mechanics.
• Collaborate with Counsel, Underwriting, and Claims teams to improve policy quality.
• Manage time effectively and meet challenging goals.

Desired Qualifications

• 2-4 years of related experience.
• Strong ability to read and analyze complex policy language.
• Background in legal or contract interpretation is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

This position is primarily remote, with occasional travel to Itasca (1-2 times per month) and potential travel to New York City as needed.
