We are partnering with a leading organization to hire a Policy Specialist who will play a key role in drafting and maintaining insurance policy contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client needs and corporate standards.
Essential Functions
- Draft representations and warranties policy contracts based on standard wordings, client clauses, and agreed terms.
- Update and maintain standard policy templates.
- Assist with policy negotiations and provide suggested wording for unique client requirements.
- Organize policy resources and maintain policy procedures.
- Participate in Counsel Team projects and stay current on policy wording trends.
- Develop specialized knowledge of policy provisions and mechanics.
- Collaborate with Counsel, Underwriting, and Claims teams to improve policy quality.
- Manage time effectively and meet challenging goals.
Desired Qualifications
- 2-4 years of related experience.
- Strong ability to read and analyze complex policy language.
- Background in legal or contract interpretation is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
This position is primarily remote, with occasional travel to Itasca (1-2 times per month) and potential travel to New York City as needed.
Salary : $80,000 - $130,000
