About the Role:We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and optimize cloud infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will ensure scalability, security, and cost-efficiency while collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement cutting-edge cloud solutions.Location:Washington, DC (Onsite – No telework allowed)Contract Details:Start Date: January 5, 2026Duration: 6 months (with possibility of extension)Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, 401(k))Clearance: Public Trust required (must currently have Public Trust)Key Responsibilities:Design and implement secure, scalable Azure-based platform solutions (VMs, AKS, App Services, Storage).Architect solutions for high availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization.Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure and automation using IaC tools (Terraform, ARM templates, Azure DevOps).Implement security best practices and monitor vulnerabilities using Azure Security Center.Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments.Automate infrastructure provisioning and scaling.Monitor cloud resource health and optimize performance/costs.Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues.Document architectures, configurations, and processes.
