What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plant Accounting Manager position at Robert Half?
Our exclusive client has an immediate need for a Plant Accounting Manager to manage the finances for a $20M facility.
The Plant Accounting Manager will be responsible for P&L creation & management with full responsibility for the General Ledger, Monthly close process, Cost Accounting and some AP & AR functions as well.
This role is ideal for a Senior Accountant ready for the jump to Manager. This will not require management of junior staff, but will manage the accounting function, reporting into Senior Plant Management.
This role requires 6 years of progressive accounting experience with at least some exposure to a manufacturing environment. Previous exposure to the standard costing function is desired.
This role will require on site presence, so candidates must live within a reasonable commute range to Fitchburg Massachusetts.
