Financial Business Analyst

Robert Half Management Resources is looking for a skilled Financial Business Analyst with expertise in NetSuite tools to help one of our clients on an interim basis. In this role, you will leverage your financial acumen and technical proficiency to create insightful reports that drive key business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop customized financial reports using NetSuite tools to meet specific business needs.

• Create detailed analyses, including product profitability reports, sales performance metrics, and cost of sales assessments.

• Validate and analyze financial data to ensure the accuracy and reliability of reporting outputs.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within NetSuite reporting functionalities to optimize performance.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored reporting solutions.

• Provide actionable insights through data-driven analysis to support business operations.

• Ensure timely delivery of reports while adhering to high-quality standards.

• Maintain a deep understanding of distribution industry metrics to align reporting with organizational goals.

• Strong background in finance or accounting, with knowledge of distribution industry metrics preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in NetSuite tools, including Saved Searches, dashboards, and advanced financial reporting.
• Experience in creating reports for profitability analysis, sales performance, and cost assessments.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a proven ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Solid analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proficiency in business analysis and report writing.
• Familiarity with concepts like Gross Profit and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
