We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. As a Contract to long-term role, this position combines short-term responsibilities with the potential for extended growth.Responsibilities:• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a multi-state workforce, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.• Handle payroll functions for in-house operations, including manual calculations and adjustments as necessary.• Process weekly payroll for employees, maintaining efficiency and timeliness.• Reconcile payroll data to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.• Calculate and apply local payroll taxes in accordance with applicable laws.• Provide exceptional customer service to address payroll-related inquiries from employees.• Maintain payroll records and documentation for auditing and reporting purposes.• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.• Monitor and update payroll systems to reflect changes in employee status or tax regulations.• Assist with payroll procedures for smaller teams, including those under 100 employees.
