Payroll Administrator

We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Administrator to join our transport team in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our drivers and mechanics while supporting terminal operations. Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary contact for terminal teams regarding payroll-related inquiries and support.

• Prepare and process weekly payroll for drivers and mechanics, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Handle payroll requests submitted by terminal staff, such as retrieving pay stubs and processing settlements.

• Conduct audits on payroll entries to verify accuracy and address any discrepancies promptly.

• Manage and oversee wage garnishments in accordance with company policies.

• Administer driver bonus programs, including sign-on bonuses, referral incentives, safety rewards, and fuel incentives.

• Collaborate with the payroll team to enhance processes and minimize manual errors through documentation and improvements.

• Maintain clear and precise communication with drivers and field operations to resolve payroll issues effectively.

• Previous payroll experience is preferred; experience in transportation or logistics is a plus.
• Familiarity with payroll systems, such as Workday, is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is required.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a courteous and detail-oriented demeanor.
• Ability to manage time effectively and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of full-cycle payroll and multi-state payroll processes is beneficial.
• Experience handling payroll for 101-500 employees and managing garnishments is desirable.
