Part Time Data Entry/ Bookkeeper

We are looking for a meticulous and organized Part-Time Data Entry/Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis. This role is based in Providence, Rhode Island, and offers an excellent opportunity for individuals skilled in clerical work and financial record maintenance. Responsibilities:
• Maintain and organize physical records and files to ensure easy accessibility.
• Input and update vendor information accurately in financial systems.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of 1099 forms.
• Perform routine data entry tasks to support bookkeeping operations.
• Assist with accounts payable tasks, including verifying and reconciling invoices.
• Monitor and manage document filing systems for consistency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with record-keeping standards.
• Resolve discrepancies in financial data as needed.
• Proven experience in bookkeeping or clerical roles.
• Proficiency in data entry and document management.
• Familiarity with accounts payable processes and financial systems.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with vendors and team members.
• Knowledge of 1099 forms and related procedures is a plus.
