Part-Time Controller (contract)

We are looking for an experienced Part-Time Controller to oversee financial processes and ensure accurate reporting for our organization. This long-term contract position is based in Flower Mound, Texas, and offers an opportunity to bring your expertise to month-end close activities and document management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial operations and a keen eye for detail. This is a part-time contract position (20 hours per week). 100% ONSITE in Flower Mound, TX. Must have Netsuite experience.

Part-Time Controller (contract position):

Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute all month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Oversee document control processes, maintaining organization and compliance with company standards.

• Perform document scanning and ensure proper digital archiving of important financial records.

• Compile and organize financial documents to support audits and internal reviews.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency.

• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.

• Assist in preparing financial statements and other reports for management review.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.

• Provide guidance and support to other team members on best practices for document management.

Must have NETSUITE experience. Will not consider candidates that do not have Netsuite experience.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management or a related role.

• Proficiency in document control, scanning, and organization of financial records.

• Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and financial reporting.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Familiarity with accounting standards and regulatory compliance requirements.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

Must have Netsuite experience.
