Part-Time Bookkeeper

We are looking for a PART-TIME Bookkeeper to join our team on a Contract-to-permanent basis in Crescent, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will handle a range of bookkeeping tasks to ensure accurate financial records and smooth day-to-day operations. This part-time position requires 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and offers an hourly rate of $20-22 and a schedule of 4 hours a daily Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine bookkeeping tasks, including managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure accurate financial records.

• Utilize QuickBooks software to maintain and update financial data.

• Assist with month-end closing processes and reporting.

• Prepare and process payroll in a timely and accurate manner.

• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded and categorized correctly.

• Perform account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.

• Generate reports to provide insights into financial performance.

• Collaborate with team members to support administrative and accounting processes.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Experience with bank reconciliations and account reconciliation.
• Familiarity with payroll processing and related tasks.
• Competency in Microsoft Excel and other data entry tools.
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
