Paralegal

We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our team on a contract basis in New York, New York. This role involves supporting regulatory compliance efforts, drafting legal documentation, and collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure adherence to healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in healthcare law, regulatory affairs, or PBM/TPA operations to help streamline processes and maintain legal accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Track, monitor, and assess the implications of changes to federal and state laws and regulations relevant to the organization.

• Maintain a centralized repository of regulatory updates and oversee the progress of their implementation.

• Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to confirm implementation plans and timelines.

• Create regulatory summaries, impact analyses, and internal guidance materials tailored to business needs.

• Draft and update policies and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements.

• Participate in cross-functional meetings to foster collaboration, ensure alignment, and uphold accountability across teams.

• At least three years of experience in healthcare law, regulatory compliance, or PMB/TPA operations.

• Experience working with regulatory tracking tools like PBM Source or similar platforms.

• Proficiency in regulatory affairs or legislative analysis with excellent legal research and writing skills.

• Strong command of Microsoft Office and familiarity with regulatory tracking platforms.

• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills and ability to translate complex requirements into actionable processes.

• Adept at managing multiple priorities independently while maintaining clear communication.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

• Paralegal certification or Juris Doctor (JD) degree with a healthcare specialization preferred.
