Network Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Network Administrator to join our team in Livonia, Michigan. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to manage and enhance network systems within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in configuring and troubleshooting network hardware and software, ensuring seamless operations across all systems.

Responsibilities:
• Configure and manage routers, switches, and other network hardware to maintain optimal performance.
• Administer and support Windows Server 2019 and VMware environments, ensuring system stability and security.
• Troubleshoot network issues effectively, utilizing ticketing systems to track and resolve problems.
• Oversee the operation of local and wide area networks in compliance with company policies.
• Implement and coordinate upgrades for network software and hardware, ensuring minimal disruption.
• Manage firewall technologies and ensure robust security measures are in place.
• Maintain and update Active Directory to support organizational needs.
• Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity through effective backup technologies.
• Monitor and optimize network performance, addressing potential bottlenecks proactively.
• Collaborate with team members to deploy new systems and technologies efficiently.

• Proven expertise in configuring Cisco routers, switches, and related technologies.

• Strong knowledge of firewall technologies and network security best practices.

• Hands-on experience with VMware and Windows Server 2019 administration.

• Proficiency in Active Directory management and configuration.

• Familiarity with Meraki and other network troubleshooting tools.

• Solid understanding of backup technologies and disaster recovery practices.

• Ability to manage network deployments and configuration management tasks.

• Strong problem-solving skills and experience working with ticketing systems.

• Must be bilingual (ENG/SPA)
