Marketing Specialist

We are looking for a motivated Marketing Specialist to join a firm in Woodinville, Washington. In this role, you will play a key part in driving business growth by crafting compelling proposals and SOQs for public agency RFPs and RFIs. This position combines independent work with collaborative efforts alongside project managers and technical staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality marketing materials.

Responsibilities:

• Support the development of proposals and RFP responses, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with brand standards
• Collaborate with technical and project teams to gather content and project information for marketing and proposals
• Write, edit, and proofread proposal and marketing content including executive summaries, firm overviews, and resumes
• Track procurement opportunities and proposal deadlines
• Manage proposal production and submission, both digital and print
• Maintain proposal and marketing content libraries and templates
• Assist in creating marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and project sheets
  

• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to work across technical and marketing teams
• Experience developing proposals or marketing materials, ideally within the AEC or public-sector environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign; familiarity with CRM tools and design software a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred
• 3 years of relevant proposal or marketing experience preferred
• Familiarity with public procurement processes and B2G marketing a plus
• Comfort using AI tools to support content development and efficiency
• Valid Washington State driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed
