Marketing Data Analyst

We are looking for a skilled Marketing & Logistics Data Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Houston, Texas. This role involves leveraging data insights to optimize logistics operations, analyze transportation costs, and enhance overall efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze transportation and logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.

• Collaborate with the Director of Operations to support logistics planning and decision-making processes.

• Track and manage transportation orders from initiation to completion, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Evaluate third-party logistics (3PL/4PL) performance and costs to ensure alignment with company goals.

• Utilize advanced Excel skills to process and interpret data, developing actionable insights.

• Prepare detailed reports and dashboards that summarize key findings and recommendations.

• Work closely with administrative teams to maintain organized and comprehensive data records.

• Conduct periodic in-person meetings to discuss progress and align on strategic goals.

• Identify root causes of logistical challenges and propose effective solutions.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and standards across all logistics operations.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, logistics, or related fields.

• Proficiency in marketing analytics and data interpretation.

• Strong knowledge of transportation and distribution systems, including 3PL/4PL.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data processing and analysis.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Proven ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.

• Strong communication skills to present findings and recommendations effectively.

• Experience in administrative support and record-keeping.
