Logistics Coordinator

We are looking for a highly organized Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. This long-term contract position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and a passion for ensuring seamless logistics operations. You will play a key role in managing shipping processes, vendor relations, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of supply chain activities.

Responsibilities:

• Track and monitor orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.

• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to coordinate logistics processes.

• Oversee shipping and receiving functions, ensuring items are accurately received and properly documented.

• Input data into company tools and scan documents to maintain accurate records.

• Contact vendors to obtain quotes and negotiate pricing as needed.

• Ensure orders are shipped to the correct destinations and on schedule.

• Coordinate with technicians to arrange product installations with clients.

• Verify that all received items match orders and are entered correctly into the system.

• Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and team members.
• Proficiency in tracking and documenting shipping and receiving processes.
• Familiarity with logistics tools and systems for data entry and record management.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and remain flexible in dynamic situations.
• Background in logistics or supply chain is a plus.
• Knowledge of shipping functions, customs, and distribution processes is preferred.
