Logistics Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our manufacturing team in Dallas, Texas. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a critical role in overseeing warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining efficient logistics processes. Responsibilities:
• Monitor and enforce safety protocols within the warehouse to ensure a secure working environment for all employees.
• Oversee compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as company-specific policies.
• Supervise forklift operators and warehouse leads, ensuring their tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Manage the receipt, storage, and accurate inventory of products within the warehouse.
• Ensure timely and accurate loading of customer shipments, including the completion of all necessary documentation.
• Foster a positive and detail-oriented workplace culture, leading by example in daily activities.
• Conduct regular inspections of forklifts and address any maintenance issues promptly to ensure operational safety.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems with electronic equipment such as e-scanners to minimize disruptions.
• Oversee the cycle counting process to ensure inventory accuracy and maintain proper data entry in inventory systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams and government officials to resolve customs-related issues and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Proven experience in logistics coordination, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and safety procedures.
• Familiarity with customs processes and regulations is highly desirable.
• Ability to lead and manage a team effectively, including providing guidance and addressing performance issues.
• Proficiency in using inventory management systems and electronic equipment such as e-scanners.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with employees and partners.
