Logistics Clerk

We are looking for a Logistics Clerk to join our team in the Bridgewater NJ area. This long-term contract position offers a great opportunity for professionals with experience in logistics, shipping, and inventory management. The role involves ensuring smooth shipment processes and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.

• Monitor and track shipments to and from the warehouse, addressing any issues that arise.

• Process and enter purchase orders efficiently while maintaining accurate records.

• Oversee warehouse inventory to ensure stock levels meet operational needs.

• Communicate with customers to provide updates and resolve inquiries related to logistics.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on shipping schedules and priorities.

• Conduct routine checks to verify the accuracy of shipment information.

• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures related to logistics operations.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in logistics or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
• Familiarity with warehouse inventory management systems.
• Proven ability to process purchase orders and maintain accurate documentation.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on attention to detail.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
