IT Systems Engineer/Administrator

We are looking for a skilled IT Systems Engineer/Administrator to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to work on advanced system architectures, cloud services, and security solutions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, administering, and maintaining enterprise-level systems while ensuring optimal performance and security.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and administer Active Directory (AD) systems, including enterprise-level architecture and Group Policy management.

• Manage and maintain Microsoft Azure cloud services infrastructure, including Microsoft Entra ID solutions.

• Oversee the administration of Microsoft 365 (M365), ensuring seamless functionality and user support.

• Architect and support virtual environments using advanced virtualization technologies.

• Configure, manage, and optimize Amazon Web Services (AWS) and other cloud computing platforms.

• Administer security information and event management (SIEM) solutions to enhance system security.

• Develop and execute system installations, configurations, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

• Conduct routine security audits and compliance scans to ensure system integrity.

• Research and introduce innovative technologies to improve system efficiency and capabilities.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members while documenting technical processes and procedures.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in system engineering or related roles.
• Expertise in Microsoft Windows Server 2019 and Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency in virtualization technologies, including VMware and hypervisors.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Skilled in designing and managing enterprise-level Active Directory environments.
• Experience with enterprise Storage Area Networks (SANs) and cloud storage solutions.
• Ability to develop complex scripts and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
• Familiarity with Macintosh Operating Systems in a Windows-based environment.
