About The Role The Internal Audit Business Process Manager is part of the North America Internal Audit team, to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, identify and mitigate risks, strengthen internal controls, and improve business processes. This position also serves as a resource and advisor on process and control related matters. Excellent critical thinking, leadership and communication skills, and the ability to effectively and persuasively collaborate with all business and process areas are key components of this role. What You'll AccomplishAssist in developing and executing the annual internal audit plan, aligned with the company’s strategic objectives, industry best practices, and regulatory requirementsAssist in developing and maintaining Internal Audit methodology documentation, including: testing approach and templates, work programs, and reporting templatesAssist in performing risk assessments to identify key business, operational, and financial risks and ensure effective mitigation strategies are in placeManage the end-to-end SOX program including scoping, walkthroughs, operating effectiveness testing remediation and reportingAssist control owners in understanding how to successfully document and retain evidence of Information Used in Control (IUC) / Information Produced by Entity (IPE)Understand Segregation of Duties and support in risk identification, monitoring, mitigation, and remediationAnalyze SOC 1 (System and Organizational Controls 1) Reports to assess the service organizations internal controls over financial reporting and ability to meet control objectivesOversee the execution of audit and advisory reviews, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting, ensuring agreed-upon audit objectives are met and audit missions are properly managed.
