Interim Accounts Receivable Manager

We are looking for an Interim Accounts Receivable Manager to oversee the financial operations related to customer accounts for a manufacturing company in Dallas, Texas. This long-term contract position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills to ensure accurate billing and timely collections. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounts receivable processes and a strong aptitude for working with financial systems and tools.

This is a 3-month contract assignment.

100% ONSITE in Addison, Texas.

AR/Collections Manager (contract position):

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable processes for over 150 business customers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Reconcile billing discrepancies and align invoices with established contract terms.

• Communicate effectively with customers both verbally and in writing to resolve payment issues and inquiries.

• Utilize advanced Excel functions to analyze and maintain financial data.

• Oversee cash applications and ensure timely posting of payments.

• Handle collections for commercial accounts, ensuring compliance with company policies.

• Monitor cash activity and provide regular updates on account statuses.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address accounting-related challenges and improve workflows.

• Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company standards in all accounts receivable activities.

• Leverage Oracle systems, if applicable, to streamline processes and enhance accuracy.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role.
• Proficiency in accounts receivable processes, including billing, collections, and cash applications.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for customer and internal interactions.
• Experience in a manufacturing or similar industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with Oracle financial systems is highly desirable.
• Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data effectively.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
